| Heritage Archives is a labor of love that had its roots in 1996, the year our first grandchild was born. That also was the year our first genealogical research began with discovery of a family bible from 1870 and some family photos from the late 1800's.
Who were all these people and why hadn't we heard of them before? It was much too late to ask the matriarchs and patriarchs of the family. Much of our family's story was destined to remain a mystery.
Out of that frustration a determination grew. As much as it was within our power -- our grandchildren's children -- were not going to lose connection with those who preceded them. From this Heritage Archives was born.
